Fast, shy and challenging, the Belted Kingfisher is one of our favourite birds to photograph. When we manage to get a clear shot we feel we've had a successful day. If we ever get a shot of one flying that looks like more than a blur, or isn't half-in and half-out of the image, there'll be a huge celebration!
