One of the reasons(does one really need a reason to go to Vegas?)we took this trip was to see Garth Brooks.My wife is a huge fan.I was so so.We were able to snag 8th row seats so we were very close and I so wanted to take pictures but of course cameras were verbotten.He put on an amazing show.The spotlight shone on a stool with a water bottle on top...then the opening music and he walked out,guitar in hand.He was wearing old baggy blue jeans,a blue sweatshirt,a ballcap and his work boots.No band...just him.
By about 30 minutes into the show I was a big fan as well.His show was to run 90 minutes but he said he was in no hurry and wanted to play longer.He did another 30 minutes and his wife Trisha Yearwood came out and did a few songs with him...a nice treat!
He plays only select weekends and then takes Steve Wynn's private jet home to Oklahoma so that the kids don't miss school....quite a gig.
