Today was Ian's first pinewood derby race. Actually both of our firsts.
I was never a cub/boy scout, so this is all new to me too.

This first year was just all about learning what to do or not to do when it comes to car
design and build. Everyones car ran great except for one, and the leaders were trying
their best to get it rolling right.

Everyone had a great time. And while I'd love to blog the image of the race that Ian won,
I feel that this was my keeper for the day. An interesting angle, and a nice background of the
kids with an excited look on their faces. And this was just a grudge match after the official race.

We had a great time and can't wait til next years build.
