One of my favorite birds. Just gorgeous. AND super cooperative. I sat on the beach and watched him for over an hour. Even when he flew (after a person with a dog walked by) he only flew a short distance and landed by himself further down the beach. All the other gulls kept going. I'm always on the lookout for these gorgeous Arctic visitors.
