Roderick and William Loop, father and son, from Binghamton, NY.

Both men belonged to the 191st Tank Battalion and had enlisted
the same day, 29 May 1942.

Mr. Loop Sr. had also served in the First World War with the
31st Division.

In this photo, dad is bidding farewell to his son.
He is leaving Italy for a tour of duty in the U.S.
