"Air Burst Rocket System" (ABRS) arrived today.
- removed Omega pressure gauge from the smaller,
"Air Burst Mighty Missile" (ABMM) system (on the left)
and plugged its gauge port.
- bought more brass at Home Depot and inserted the gauge
in the larger system's air line. Data collection ready!
- picked up a Serfas FMP 500 bike pump (260psi!: see warning below).
- Read Warnings in Instruction Manual about not pressurizing the
system beyond 160psi - now they tell us!
- Looking forward to the larger system's P*V response.
The claim is one white "burst membrane" will send
the rocket to an elevation of 250': that will best
our record of 232' w the smaller system and 2 red
"burst membranes".
