This arcaded sidewalk runs along the Arno just opposite the Uffizi where it joins the Ponte Vecchio.
Its strong architectural image attracted me with its shadows in the late afternoon..
But also it is a hangout for "vendors" such as the man shown in the picture, and the one in the next image.
