I bought a couple of these, a red one and a white one. People
will be glad to know they can't last much longer ;o)

I just found out that what we commonly call "Amaryllis" is
really Hippeastrum, much to my surprise.

Anyhow, this was a bit difficult to capture--tried in
stronger light late yesterday afternoon, but the effect
was to wash out the reds, and come very close to blowing them
out. I find my 5D Mark II is more difficult when it comes to
capturing good reds at times. I should be trying to process
this in C1 but my trial expired and I'm not quite ready
to invest in it just yet.
