Amaryllis In Black and White

Trying to decide between the B&W toned version vs the next image in color.
Same shot different treatments. Thoughts?

Very very special... looks like a wedding dress, or a young girl's first communion dress, or maybe a ballerina tutu.

I like the color version, but this really stands out.

Yes, this is much better..

Yes, I do like this better. I have always thought a small amount of blue tint works well with black & white.

I really liked amaryllis !! but this is even better - the b&w accentuates every twist and turn of the petals beautifully...

The black and white treatment works very well here and combined with the tonal range, sharpness and detail you captured gives this the look of a hand sculptured flower.

The texture in this B/W photographs is great.

I am voting for this one. The B*W seems to have more power in it. Beautiful capture!

Great detail, the B&W is more striking and elegant Dawn

Lovey image. The B&W really emphasizes the textures, and has more impact than the color version.

I am a b&w fan and I think this is beautiful. Very nice work.

I love this one Dawn. The simplicity of the b&w really draws my eye to the textures and purity of the flower.
