When I was a child I had just a few friends, So I captured a horned toad each play day I named it and carried it around in a box all day.
The toad was a source of wonderment to me. At dinner time my Mother insisted I let him go.
The next morning I would do the same thing all over again.
I understand this facination with a reptile.
I now wonder how I ever caught them. Toads are fast critters.
