SACRAMENTO, CA - For the first time since the 2007-2008 season, the Kings had
a reason to offer standing room only tickets for a game at Arco Arena.
Every seat for the Saturday contest against the NBA Champion Los Angeles
Lakers, was sold out well in advance of game day, so the team offered about
200 SRO tickets. The last of those were snatched up nine hours before the
game, according to the Arco box office staff.
The only seats that remained were about a dozen in rows one and two. But they
weren't likely to be sold on a walk-up basis. The seats on row two went for
$750 each, while a single seat in row one could be had for $965.
