Well it is no supprise to me to see Wanda calmly holding a wild duck. I have seen Wanda charm the snake at the hot springs, heard her chatter with the birds as they chirp over head and have watched her communicate with the deer out in the wild as she places her hands to the side of her head and mimics their movements. She is "Mother Nature" you know. Bill keep up the good work and Merry Christmas to the both of you.

With those devastingly blue eyes, and that smile so bright and warm that I'm surprised that the snow didn't melt, even a duck would know better than to try to stir up a fuss while being held by Wanda.

Great capture, now be serious guys if Wanda was holding you would you be struggling. After all we are talking about Mother Nature. Glad you were able to get a good shot, you can just see the joy in Wanda's eyes and smile.

Dear Wnada-ful Wanda, the reason why your ducky friend flew the coop when

Bryan,

That duck wasn't too happy with me when I first grabbed him! At first I thought he was going to get away cuz he was flapping his wings in my face and squawking up a storm. ONce I got a better grip on him though and could hold him securely and coo in his ears, he calmed down and figured out I wasn't going to hurt him. He still squirmed a little bit though, but I was happy Bill had a chance to snap a shot that turned out OK. When I finally turned loose of the little fella he didn't waste any time running away though!
