After a weekend of rock and roll, it was time for the BIG GO, the U.S. Nationals;
Working for Mitch King's Top Fuel team with Del Cox and now Ron August renting rides.
My duties were mainly in the pit area, so instead of standing behind the car on the starting line pretending to do something, I opted to shoot photos as frequently as possible between runs.
It seemed as though every time we pulled into the waterbox, the pair before us oiled down the track. I used this time to try and come up with some shots, like this one of Scott Kallita's son Corey, as he awaited the burnout of the Team Kallita DHL Nitro Funny car.
