This is a beautiful view, and taken from a plane is often a very overlooked perspective by photographers. Maybe it has to do with dirty windows??, but in this case you got a perfect overview of this beautiful plase. Kleivis

sorry - just reloaded correct size. We were flying in from Kauai'i and the plane took a detour route due to winds so I was able to photograph the entire south side of the island while we flew around. Diamond Head is a side cinder crator that popped up way later than the original volcanos that formed the island. I never get tired of looking at it.

What a beautiful view! There is nowhere here that you could get a view to see this far! Amazing! (You might want to re-load the picture - it appears you loaded the original...) brent

I think this needs to be resized but it is really impressive ... wow! I love the layers and folds and textures. But I'm a geology nut and anything that reveals tectonic or volcanic processes immediately grabs my attention. Beautiful shot!
