Sunrise Guesthouse is easy to find as it is beside the bridge as you cross the Nam Ou, but it's not the best in town. Its cabins are rickety and badly finished, although some are better than others. Riverside - if only you can get in (book ahead if possible) and Sunset are both more expensive but considerably better and worth the money.
