I certainly agree with Tim's take on this image. I, too, see the word "open" as a metaphor, not so much for photography as for the photographer and how he/she must envision the world in order to create new and interesting and challenging images. I think you certainly have been doing this in this gallery.
This is wonderful - to find words to talk about what is going on above the roof! It is, for me, a metaphor for photography - we need to be open to the glory surrounding us.
