The last week or so has seen Cumbria in the news for all the wrong reasons. After over two weeks of constant rain, and some of the worst floods the Lakes have ever seen, saturday finally gave them Blue skies. I spent most of the day in the lakes and I am always amazed at how quick it gets rid of its water. All the Lakes and river are back to their normal Winter levels. Its as if it never happened.
