Release Knobs

The back latch release locks by screwing it in (clockwise). To open the back, unlock the release by turning
it counter-clockwise about four or five turns. Then press the release inward, the back should unlatch to allow
swinging it open. The film spool retainers are spring loaded plungers. Pulling the knurled knob outward about 1/4 inch
(6 mm) disengages a pin that allows the end of the film spool to be lifted. When installing a spool, the knob is
pulled out, the spool dropped into position and the knob released to allow the retaining pin to engage the spool.
The flash sync connector has been modified from the original; not all Flexaret IIIs had flash sync.
