American goldfinch

After a short spell of not seeing or hearing any goldfinches at FWG, small numbers can be found around the feeders and any trees bearing seeds.

Wonderful capture. I have a copy of an early American primitive painting which displays the goldfinch with fruits and veg. A truly treasured bird at my house. V
