(from the 1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon)
It's been wet, dull, overcast, wet, windy with wet rain here for weeks and weeks, and impossible to get outside and shoot some decent exteriors...
...I'm posting this 'back-pocket' shot to remind us all that sometimes the autumn (and early winter) can be breathtaking in its grandeur. We're so lucky here in the Cotswolds that we can be out of the town and high up amidst the hills and fields in a couple of minutes. Apart from the main populations of Cheltenham and Gloucester there are few towns but many small villages in the Cotswolds, so the feelings of being alone and able to recharge the batteries are strong and prevalent
This is a quick grab shot taken at the stables earlier this month. The vista may be familiar to some of you already - I think I used one from almost the same vantage point for the April Challenge, so apologies for going over old ground (!!)
