Dearest Nico: I am certain that it is not your photography...this is terrific. Really. I wouldn't lie to you.

On the other side, life is...quite frankly...difficult. Not just people, situations, money, children...our very selves are difficult.

I admire Lydia for that simple phrase of hers...Life is good...even when it's not.

This is so deeply profound...and yet, depression, worry...simple emotional lost-ness all can take a real toll....every day.

Life sometimes really isn't good...but all we can do is man-up, stay busy...do for our loved ones what we can.

There isn't any solution....really, ever. Terrible this may be to say, but this is also true. I find some bitter comfort in knowing this.

Best Wishes, Traveller

Thanks for the comments... it is just how I felt at the time... or perhaps more broadly how I feel about my photography generally at the moment... going through a slump (in my opinion.) But thanks for the encouragement. Regards Nico

One tree, one fencepost, good colors, and a ground-level perspective. It may not be exciting, but I wouldn't call it uninspired. I like it, Nico.

I quite like this. Can't help but focus on that little lone tree that's apart from the others.
