NGC 2068 or M 78

Cootamundra, NSW

The dusty nebula, NGC 2068 or M 78 in Orion, within the photograph is also the smaller, fainter reflection nebula, NGC 2071 surrounding a 10th magnitude star. Close attention shows the whole field is faintly nebulous.

Prime focus of the Takahashi TSA-102.
