Gas sad iron

Before electricity became widespread, the gas sad iron was the cutting edge product.
The little tank was filled with kerosene or naphtha, and the integral burner heated the iron,
making it much more convenient to use than its predecessor, the sad iron that had to be heated on the top of a stove before use.
