This afternoon I went out to lunch with a group of ladies from our exercise group to Kathleen's Tea Room in Fletcher, North Carolina. My side dish was stewed apples, which I had never had before. They were just delicious, so of course I had to get on the internet to find a recipe. I have had a bag of Golden Delicious apples in my fridge for longer than I'd care to say, and decided to use those, although Granny Smith were the recommended variety.
