Honey Light

Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Scotland.

Sunrise was a pretty sombre affair but there were gaps in the clouds so I opted to hang around and was gifted the most stunning low amber light, like thick clear honey drizzled over a beautiful wild moorland landscape. The cloak of broken cloud was peppered with blue and tinged slightly pink by the remnants of a sunrise that just failed to mature properly. The broken patches of intense sunlight create teriffic visual depth and clarity.
