Probably it’s a bit too pompous and exaggerated to call this place “a square”.
Actually it’s just the point where the narrow alleys of the island cross each other
and where it’s possible to walk side by side instead of in a row.

But it’s a meaningful and nice place, in front of the ancient, tiny church.

Then, after all, the hearth of every village is its square,
so there must be one...
