Lunar Passage

I took this photograph at around 9 am this morning. I was photographing
a garage door with a powerful shadow of a tree on it. Took a few shots,
and when I looked around before I got back in the car, I just happened to look around the sky.

I noticed a jet and trail coming from the east heading west.
For some reason I thought about how close it might come visually to the moon when it
got that far to the west. I pre-focused on the moon, took a couple of shots
to check exposure and just waited for the plane to arrive near the moon.

Took several shots as it approached and passed. This was my favorite.

I took a lot of liberties with the value of the sky making it very "night like".
