6th- "Money"

The Bank of Cruden

(from the 1973 album The Dark Side of The Moon)

Sorry, another ho-hum pic today, folks - seriously ran out of creative ideas last night, it was as much as I could do to set this up...

I'm certainly not a globe-trotter but it was interesting to see how much filthy lucre I had amassed from various work and domestic trips to foreign climes - typical isn't it, you go abroad, get lots of cash to see you through then stuff the excess into a jar when you get back home, completely forget about all that loose change...and then go through the same cycle the next time you go abroad.

I didn't count exactly, but I reckon I must have about forty USDs in notes, who knows how many Canadian dollars (loonies and toonies everywhere!!!), a smattering of Euros (I'm stockpiling for when the UK converts to the Euro) and bits and pieces from other corners of the globe...Swedish krona, Deutsche Marks (from a long time ago!), Irish punts, Cypriot pounds...and good-old fashioned Scottish pound notes!!

Steve Sharp06-Nov-2009 17:19
I always used to love bringing Scottish pound notes back to England after trips, just to see the puzzled look on people's faces when I spent them :) (nice investment idea stockpiling Euros by the way!)
Kevin Chester06-Nov-2009 16:20
PS That twenty euro's will be worth about six hundred pounds by the end of the year.
Kevin Chester06-Nov-2009 16:18
Ch-Ching, as the start of the song goes. It had to be done.
Walter Otto Koenig06-Nov-2009 16:18
I like the way you set this up with the different denominations and this lighting and focus. You're really showing great versatility with the 28mm. "V"
P.S. You can send me the $40, I'll put it in the amoxtli lens fund. :)
