I often ask myself why I do this. Often I have no answer. But really, if nothing else, it’s practice. The more I use a camera, the more I understand it. Not just the controls but the results. Why a picture works, or why it doesn’t, By constant practice, when I do have a subject more interesting than my bedside clock, I’ll know what so do with it. And this shot also proves the time is set correctly on my camera.
