I particularly like these determined little ferries always busy on the harbour.It is just possible that the name Charlotte related to a great grandmother, whose husband was involved in the earliest ferries to promote the development of the northern harbour shores
where he was an enthusiastic developer, especially around Mosman, where amongst other businesses he ran a sandstone quarry providing stone viz for the Farm Cove retaining wall. Apart from the ferry's name (guess), all other information is fact.
