How about a view like this from your back garden! It overlooked the Jamison Valley, Blue Mountains National Park. I included two versions of this view because they both seem to be worth a look.

In this photo I used my wide angle zoom wide open at a focal length of 12mm. Straight from the camera, the image was marred by excessive contrast. To bring it closer to what we actually saw, I lightened the land and darkened the sky in Photoshop.
