Colourful drive through the park

Hines Park, Northville, MI view map

The trees are stunning here at the moment, and when the sun is shining it lights up the colours
along the roadside making for a beautiful drive.
We did not get colours like this in the area of England I originate from, so I appreciate them
all the more and try to capture as many images as I can, especially as I know it will be a LONG
cold winter with no leaves on the trees for 6 months after this autumn is over!
I was standing on a road bridge with traffic thundering past me, as I took this shot looking down on to the much quieter road that goes through the park....

Now, this brings back memories !!! And, yes, the colours here in the UK are much more mellow - more golden - not the stunning reds.

Isn't the colours amazing. It looks like the sun is shining when it rains. This time of the year is almost overwhelmingly beautiful. Too bad it's so sort lived. A wonderful capture of the colours Tricia.
