A poor quality image taken in misty conditions at dawn. Though the monotonous "pop pop pop..." song of these birds can be heard later in the day I only ever saw them sitting out in full view at dawn.
This small arboreal barbet tends to keep to the forest canopy where it is normally quite unobtrusive.

This & the following image were over-exposed by +1.333 stops which unfortunately still wasn't enough due to the strong back-lighting from the dawn sky!
