... I never get a look in!
We were going to visit Bressingham Steam Gardens this morning, but got halfway there & the road was sealed off.
We followed everyone else in a pleasant divert round the countryside, and found
we couldn't get to the gardens from the other side either! Turns out that my
old local pub The Chequers at Bressingham (formerly The Garden House), which was just down the road from the
gardens, had burnt to the ground the night before and there was nothing left standing.
Terribly upsetting - I spent most of my twenties in that pub, good times and bad!
So we came home and I did the ironing, some cleaning, made a casserole and some
cakes... hence the bowl licking!
