7 October - New Do

All my recent pics seem to be storyboards and ME! ;O)

I have lost the "urge" to PAD due to Pbase's recent downtime
and the fact I inadvertently wiped off my whole years "blog"
for 2009... so upsetting as it was like my diary for the year!

Am still debating whether to carry on with Pbase or go
elsewhere... my Smugmug trial runs out in three days and
I have liked being there BUT Pbase still has so much to
offer in other ways.

Will someone please make the decision for me?!

I love being able to do THIS so easily... can't do that on SM!

But if I was presenting a portfolio for a client, I wouldn't put that here. There are clever web designers who can do things to help you there, or so I'm told ;-)

Aw Hun you need to keep here just a little while anyway, I agree Ive felt my hold has "Broken" too but Im getting back bit by bit again. We'll miss you too much, we love your PADS!

imho smugmug and zenfolio are more useful as portfolio sites, I like both, but agree that they are not best served for PaD type images. Flickr (or Zoomr) are the most Pbase like, in terms of community, but Flickr is so overwhelming and the presentation of images at either site isn't the best, without using an external viewing tool. Pbase just isn't reliable enough though - last weeks outage wasn't the first of its type :(
