I came up with idea to use the bits of nice figured maple I had left over from the other turnings. Instead of them going in the stove, I thought it would be a good idea to do a smaller segmented project - this turned out to be lots of work - just becuase its smaller does not mean easier!
Each one of these 8" peper mills has 65 pieces of wood in it.
