2009 - Iceland
This church on the southern expanse of the Snęfellsnes is one of the more popular photography spots in Iceland. Although gifted photographers have shot this many thousands of times, every picture is truly unique and almost all capture a different aspect of this architecture in it's environment. The name is commonly written as Buthir in English and is pronounced as "Bootheer" rolling the "r".
