Craig told us that this stone (which Dad is pointing to in this photo) may have been smoothed
in the gizzard of a dinosaur. We had never thought of dinosaurs having gizzards before,
but a Google search brings up all kinds of information (and at least one photo) of
gizzard stones found in the fossilized remains of dinosaurs. "Lizard gizzard stones"! BIG lizards...
