Wall effect

"Wall Effect" is a special term used in Hong Kong to describe those "wall" like tall buildings which closely align along the harbour front (in order to maximize the sea view).
Such a selfish building design blocks most of the incoming winds which use to ventilate the city during summer, resulting in very low urban wind speed and intense urban heat island effect.
