The Nazaraeth Convent and Academy is a four story Romanesque style structure.
The irregularly shaped building measures approximately 200 feet long
and 150 feet wide at it's widest point, and the tower of the building reaches a height of 55 feet.
The Nazareth Convent and Academy was built under the auspices of the Sisters of St. Joseph as an educational and religious institution.
The site for the building was purchased on June 30, 1892, and the building foundation was begun in 1898.
Work was delayed due to lack of funds until late 1901 or early 1902.
Cornerstone services were held May 15, 1902, and the building was completed in 1903.
