Most of my other photos of The Library of Celsus were carefully framed to eliminate the hordes of tourists. As you can see, during the high season Ephesus is crowded. Tourists spend money here that in turn is used to fund excavation of more of the site. As more exciting history is uncovered and shown to the world, even more tourists will follow.
