Faucet Replacement Fail
You would think I could do this quick.
It is a simple thing normally.
Out comes the old one, in goes the new.
A few nuts, a couple plastic locks.
This time however, the problems mounted.
The new hoses are too short.
Ok, I'll use the old plastic ones.
The connectors are longer.
Ok, I'll bend the old ones a bit.
There is no room under this sink.
Ok, I'll twist myself like a pretzel.
The center hole is not big enough for the drain.
Huh????? WTF????????
Yeah, the center hole is not wide enough.
The old "builder" faucet was in the center.
With this neck in the center the wire is offset.
Well my drill drilled its last 3 months ago.
No I guess it is back to Home Depot tomorrow.
New drill and bits to wire this in.
Oh, and a hope that I don't crack the sink.
I guess no water in that bathroom for a bit.
Good thing I live alone.
