When MSR took over Moss they discontinued this tarp, which IMHO was much better than the Parawing they continued to make. I am glad to say it is back! It would be nice if they would make it in SilNylon, esp. since this one has started to leak! I used it on two one week sea kayak trips and a couple of other nights. I guess about 6 years in the closet has been hard on it?

I also bought the netting and floor just because if you don't and later want them you can't find them. I wonder if the new tarp allows you to connect the netting?

I was trying things out here as I was sure I would need it as I drove the Alaskan Highway. I remembered the Canadians harden their sites beyond belief and brought a hammer for my heavy duty Moss stakes. I bent one here!

The netting would sort of work over a picnic table if the bugs weren't too bad. You could pull it down a bit, but part of the netting is suppose to be flat to the ground to lay a floor on top of.
