Cowboy & His Horse (2 images)

East Bay Regional Park. Mt. Diablo, CA

A cowboy relies on his horse to get a lot of work done on a ranch. Often there is a strong bond between them.

Representing the cowboy & horse are Bob and Starr. Starr has been retired for several years and I was requested to take some shots of them together as Starr is an aging old gelding. The story of how Bob & Starr met, saving of Starr's life & becoming soul mates is in Volume 6 of Horse Tales for the Soul," compiled by Bonnie Marlewski-Probert.
