The Lake O'Hara campground has a large communal area for all cooking and food storage (to keep tent sites clear of odors). There are picnic tables, food lockers, two cooking shelters with wood stoves, sinks with running water, bathroom facilities, and a fire pit with benches (quite luxurious for a 'backcountry' campground). Pretty much everybody spends their evenings in this area so we got to talk a lot with other campers and by the time we left everybody knew Norah's name (probably from hearing me say "Norah, don't put the rocks in your mouth." "Norah, why are you rolling around in the dirt?" "Norah, please don't mooch food." over and over :-D).
Norah made it her personal mission to keep tabs on all the squirrels, chipmunks, and gray jays and to keep the wood pile by the fire pit stocked. :)
