07 SEP 09 EAGLE RELEASED TO THE WILD

Two eagle educators with the same point of view.

The gentleman is Ed Clark, President of the WIldlife Center of Virginia. It is world known for it's expertise in wildlife rehabilitation.

She is a ten months old eaglet named "Buckshot".
She was her full adult size by three or four moths of age.
But she had broken her wing while still in the nest and could not fly.
Her parents did the best they could to feed & encourage her but finally had to abandon her.
She was rescued and sent to the Wildlife Center of Virginia for treatment.
She recovered beautifully and was released back into the wild today.
