North: Indian Statue

This the original Keeper of the Plains statue by Native American artist Blackbear Bosin. It sits
on the banks of the Arkansas River in Wichita. Evidently, there are smaller replicas of the
Keeper of the Plains in Orléans, France and Tlalnepantla (Mexico City), Mexico (The two cities
are Sister or twinned cities with Wichita).

Thanks to putain d impecable's Flicker posting.

The tiny-appearing birds flitting at the feet of the statue give an impression of monumental scale.
