Yummy looking taters. I'm with Walter ..... Pass the mayonnaise and hot mustard please!
Mairéad07-Sep-2009 21:11
These look good, homemade? We call them 'chips' in Ireland

Pommes Frites, where I am from in Germany you eat them with a mixture of mayonnaise and hot mustard. Thousand Island Dressing Rhineland Style. LOL.

I think we consume more than the rest of the world. Does that make them american fries ;-)

I have pretty much eliminated these from my diet and I love them so. Thanks for the memories.

Chips. The only REAL way to eat potatoes. And there should be nothing humble about king chip.

Pass the A-1 sauce please! A lovely shot of a favorite treat.

Ahhh, where would we be without the humble chip? Lots of these with a big battered cod and we're away! Great shot Bill

They're chips to me :)...I like them in small doses. Great shot with sharp detail.

Cheers

I like this.....not crazy about them. Think I got burned out when I was a kid. Put a lot of seasoning on these babies and I may eat a few! Like the golden color!

Yes I always wondered about the name.

They look good with nice coarse salt...
