04-SEP-2009 Judith/Isabel Edit

Eyes_Fixed

The image Judith provided was pasting was almost perfect and just required minor adjustments!

How I did it:
1. I opened up both images and put them side by side on my desktop in Photoshop.
2. Using a lasso feathered 20 pixels I draw a loose circle around the eye on the left of the image with the good eyes, copied it to the clipboard and then pasted it onto the bad eye of the other image.
3. I lowered the opacity of the layer on which I had pasted the good eye and then went to edit/transform/distort and pulled the eye into shape to fit over the bad eye.
4. Made a layer mask on the pasted layer and painted with black to reveal the fur around the eye from the original layer.
5. For the second eye I had to rotate it a bit first before I resized with the edit/transform/scale.
6. Touched that one up with a layer mask.
7. Merged all onto a new layer selected the eyes individually and desaturated the color a bit to make them the color I've seen on lots of other Pogo pictures, so they would look realistic

Excellent job on the eyes Isabel, one would never know they were not the orig. I am glad you didn't lighten the backround because I liked the look if him coming out of the shadows, personal prefernece I guess.
