I used to live one block away from Frank's house off Bird Rd and 102 ave and I knew his daughters as I went to Southwest High. Frank was old school and a real hard worker, a real son of a bitch and cursed like it was going out of style! LOL. I remember he smoked like 3 packs of cigs a day, and then he had a big heart attack which paralyzed half his body. It was sad to see him afterwards. Roxanne still runs the business today and even though I live in the Brickell area now, I occasionally take the drive out west and pick up a half baked pie to take home. Nothing like eating the sample piece on the drive home. :-)

I used to delivery the Miami News and Frankie's was on my route. I would stop there. I was always trying to get Frankie to spring for a subscription when there was a sales contest going on. I remember Frankie making square pizza and banging a hole in the top of the box with a spatula!
